UCF Economics graduates will be able to:
Discipline Specific Knowledge, Skills, Behavior and Values Outcomes
- Display command of key economic concepts, theories, and information by explaining the use of such basic economics concepts as scarcity and market equilibrium, as well as explaining more advanced economic concepts.
- Demonstrate information technology skills by locating and retrieving information on economic topics and issues, published research in Economics and related fields, and/or by finding information about the generation, construction, and meaning of economic data, as required in the elective and required courses.
- Interpret and apply key economic concepts and theories in analyzing economic issues.
Critical Thinking Outcomes
- Critically interpret and manipulate economic information at a basic level by explaining how to perform and interpret a statistical analysis using economic data.
- Utilize critical thinking skills in the interpretation and application of key economic concepts and theories.
Communication Outcomes
- Acquire and report key economic information, by locating and retrieving information on economic topics and issues, published research in Economics and related fields, and/or by finding information about the generation, construction, and meaning of economic data, and then report their findings in a written research paper or other written assignments.
- Demonstrate command of communication and research methodology by preparing a proposal for a research project, or by conducting an individual or group research study, and communicating the results in a professionally written paper.
- Demonstrate command of oral communication and research methodology by preparing an oral proposal for a research project, or by conducting an individual or group research study, and communicating the results in a professional, oral presentation.

- Exams
