Harold L. Downing, ‘76, Attorney, Gronek & Latham, LLP
After earning a B.S.B.A. in Economics, Downing obtained his law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1979. He has more than 23 years experience representing commercial and residential real estate developers, lenders and real estate brokerages. He has served as counsel for notable clients such as the Arvida Company, Centex Homes and the Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex. He was counsel to the American Automobile Association during its employee relocation to Central Florida. He also represents individual property owners in zoning, acquisition, disposition and construction lien matters.
He belongs to numerous professional organizations and is very involved in the Central Florida community. Downing is a frequent lecturer at professional seminars and bar-related programs. He currently serves on the CBA Economics Department Advisory Board.
