Laurette T. Koellner, ‘77, Executive Vice President, The Boeing Company

Laurette T. Koellner.Upon graduation, Koellner obtained a position with McDonnell Douglas as a budget analyst through the UCF placement office.   More than 25 years later, she still works in the aerospace and defense industry.   She has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility within McDonnell Douglas and later at Boeing, following the merger of the two companies in 1997.  Today, Koellner resides in Chicago and is executive vice president and member of the Office of the Chairman of the Boeing Company.  She is also a member of the Boeing Strategy and Executive Councils, and is responsible for international relationships with Africa, the Americas and Russia.  Additionally, she serves as the chief people and administration officer.  The key areas of focus in this position are leadership development, human resource allocation and strategic guidance.

She is active in many professional organizations and serves on several board of directors, including the Sara Lee Corporation.
