Thomas Messina, Associate Vice President and Executive Director, UCF Alumni Association
Messina received his B.S.B.A. in management in 1984. He has worked at the UCF Alumni Association since 1989, building the association from a staff of two and a total budget of $100,000 to a staff of 18 full-time and 2 part-time employees, with a budget of $2.5 million. In addition to his leadership skills at the association, he directed the building and management of the FAIRWINDS Alumni Center which opened on campus last fall. He has also volunteered his services at numerous UCF organizations and chapters including serving on the UCF Foundation Board, Athletics Board, the Student Union Board of Directors, and the Lambdi Chi Alpha Alumni Board. Messina is active in the Golden Knights Club and is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, the Council of Alumni Association Executives, and the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors.
