UCF Marketing graduates will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of marketing terminology, the foundations of marketing strategy, and the elements of a marketing plan.
  2. Solve marketing related problems including, but not limited to, the application of pricing tactics and calculating markups, markdowns, and break-even points.
  3. Make decisions based on ethical knowledge.
  4. Demonstrate an awareness of global and cultural differences in marketing practice.
  5. Apply the appropriate information technologies to specified marketing situations.
  6. Work cooperatively in group settings to solve marketing problems.

Critical Thinking Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate critical thinking skills by analyzing marketing problems, applying proper logic, assessing the quality/validity of data, and formulating valid conclusions based on the analysis.
  2. Evaluate and recommend marketing strategies and programs.

Communication Outcome

  1. Produce professional written and oral communications related to marketing.
