Short-Term Study Abroad
The 2010 Short-Term Study Abroad application is now available. The application deadline is February 15, 2010.
Short-term study abroad programs are open to all college students in good academic standing and UCF business alumni. The UCF Office of International Studies has a limited number of scholarships that provide support for students in these programs. Participants pay program costs, passport fees, health insurance and administrative fees. Please note that some programs include airfare while others do not. Students who wish to earn UCF credits must pay UCF tuition.

Undergraduate
- ICN Business School, University of Nancy-Metz, France: This is a four-week study abroad program from May 29 through June 27. It is open to all undergraduate students who are in good academic standing. Students can earn six credits of GEB study abroad (electives for the International business minor), and three credits in either International Management or International Marketing. Students study in Metz, France with students from different parts of the country and world. The program includes site visits to companies and excursions to Strasbourg, Brussels, Normandy and Paris. All weekends are free. Students participating for credit must satisfy all prerequisites and pay UCF tuition.
- University of Jaen-Jaen, Spain: This is a four-week study abroad program from May 4 through June 6. It is open to all undergraduate students who are in good academic standing. Students must register for six credits of GEB study abroad (electives for the International business minor), and three credits in International Management. Students will study with Spanish students from the University of Jaen in the city of Jaen. The program includes site visits to companies and excursions to Granada and Madrid.

Graduate

EADA- Barcelona, Spain: This is a one-week intensive study abroad offered during spring break. It is open to all graduate students in good academic standing, and UCF graduate business alumni. Students can earn three MBA elective credits. The program is focused on various advanced topics in international business and is focused on doing business in Spain and the EU. The program includes site visits to companies and excursions. The program is held at EADA's executive education residential center in Collbató, Spain, which is located 40 minutes from the heart of Barcelona at the foot of Montserrat.
Applications must be completed online on or before October 15, 2009 on the UCF Office of International Studies Web site. Students should be aware that the program requires enrollment of at least 15 students.
- Toulouse Business School-Barcelona, Spain Campus: : This is an intensive two-week study abroad offered from May 4 through May 16. It is open to all graduate students who are in good academic standing. Participants can earn three graduate credits that can be used for the required MBA course in International Business Analysis or as an MBA elective. The program includes site visits to companies and excursions. The program is held at the TBS Barcelona Campus, which is located in the heart of Barcelona.
